Frequently Asked Questions

Your address comes up in Honolulu. Isn't this Maui Academy of Healing Arts?

Yes! Our mailing address is in Honolulu but all of our classes will be taking place on Maui.

Is MAHA still located in Paia?

No. We will be holding our 2027 classes in Haiku. For the January cohort, we will be sharing space with Breathe Maui Wellness. We hope to move into our own space before the first class of 2028, but we are also hoping that our relationship with Breathe is mutually beneficial and fruitful well into the future.

Who are the new owners of MAHA?

Beth Sack-Rogers and her son, Nathan Sack, are the new owners. They have been massage educators for 16 and 10 years, respectively. They are both graduates of Tennessee School of Therapeutic Massage in Knoxville, TN and have taught massage programs in Tennessee, Colorado, and Costa Rica prior to MAHA. Beth has also taught continuing education all over the U.S. Nathan holds a M.Ed. from American University. They have an excellent roster of other instructors that will be teaching at MAHA alongside them.
